2020 Northeast 7v7 Fall League

Northeast 7v7 has developed a non-contact Fall League for High School athletes. The 6-week season will begin on Saturday, October 10th and run every Saturday until November 14th.
 
Teams will play one 50-minute game per week with starting times ranging from 2-6pm on Saturday afternoons.  The game will consist of two 25-minute halves and a two-minute halftime. All games will be at Milton High School’s Brooks Field, located at 25 Gile Road, Milton MA. Once games are completed teams will be asked to leave the field. No handshakes will be permitted. 

All players must individually register and have parental consent to participate in the league. The registration fee is $80 per player and the link can be found to the right.    
 
Players will be notified of their team placement and schedule prior to October 10th.  Game shirts will also be issued on October 10th and the shirt must be worn in all games.  Players should plan to arrive 20 minutes before their scheduled game to check in, as attendance will be taken weekly.  Anyone not feeling well should not attend and seek medical attention.  Only players, coaches, officials, and staff will be allowed at the field level.  Limited spectators will be allowed in the stands as social distancing rules and face coverings will be required.  
 
The league will have two levels, a Senior & Junior and a 4-team Sophomore & Freshman level. There will be no championship or playoffs as the goal is to stay active in preparation for February.

​The league will adapt several safety modifications to meet the state requirements.  These modifications include but are not limited to the following;
  • Face covering will be required for players, coaches, referees and employees.
  • Defensive players must align 6-feet from an offensive player (no press coverage).
  • Defense can not contact an offensive player, unless making the "One-hand tag" or pulling a Flag.
  • Teams will not share footballs
  • Team Rosters will be limited.
  • Daily attendance will be recorded
  • Starting times will be stagger ​
  • No more than 25 players on any surface/playing area
  • Athletic Trainer will be on site
